Alliance Global Services Successfully Completes ISO 27001:2005 Surveillance Certification for Information Security ManagementConshohocken, PA, USA - June 14, 2010 - Alliance Global Services, a premier global software solutions firm, today announced that it has successfully completed the ISO 27001:2005 surveillance audit from Det Norske Verias (DNV), an accredited third-party registrar of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). According to the ISO, the standard “is designed to ensure the selection of adequate and proportionate security controls that protect information assets.” The certification covers Alliance’s site in Hyderabad, India. “Alliance has always taken great pride in our information security management and this accreditation validates our commitment to ensuring our clients’ assets are secure,” said John Castleman, President and CEO of Alliance Global Services. “Protecting the trust of our clients is key to our business. This recognition represents the value we place on this trust and upholding the highest level of service.” ISO 27001:2005 is an Information Security Management System (ISMS) standard published by the ISO that identifies, manages and minimizes a range of threats to business information. Considered the international gold standard in information security, ISO 27001:2005 provides guidelines for a risk assessment and management process and ensures a secure infrastructure is established.
